THE MERGE

The Merge is a room. The left half is the city of 2017, where V1 and V2 were made; the right half is the village of 2022, V3's own. The seam of light between them is the way out. Call a number at the mirror and its three versions step out of the seam, each with its holder. The honour board lists every address that holds two or three versions of one number. Calling only reads the chain: nothing is written, and nothing is sold.
